What the A++ grade means

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) was established in 1994 as an autonomous institution of the University Grants Commission. Seven criteria form the framework for its evaluation: curricular aspects; teaching, learning and evaluation; research, consultancy and extension; infrastructure and learning resources; student support and progression; governance, leadership and management; and innovations and best practices.

The Institute has obtained the highest possible NAAC A++ grade with a 3.67 institutional CGPA on a 4 point scale. SKIT is the only affiliated technical institute in Rajasthan to have earned an A++ grade from NAAC in its first cycle.

  17. The NPTEL Local Chapter was rated a Valuable Local Chapter with an AA rating (2019–2022), retained AA for Jan–Apr 2023, earned an A rating with Local Chapter Star for Jul–Dec 2023 and continued to receive SWAYAM-NPTEL Local Chapter Rating recognition in 2025 and 2026.
